5-Frame Nuc (Cordovan-Italian Genetics)

This 5-frame nucleus colony is designed to provide a strong, balanced start for both new and experienced beekeepers. Housed in an EZ Nuc transport box, each colony is established with active brood, food stores, and a laying queen to support healthy growth and easy transition into a full hive.

What’s Included:

• EZ Nuc box for secure and easy transport

• 2–3 frames of brood

• 1–2 frames of honey and pollen

• Optional 5th frame with drawn comb

• Unmarked laying queen with Italian and Cordovan mixed genetics

• VSH (Varroa Sensitive Hygiene) traits for improved mite resistance

Our bees are bred from hardy Italian stock and select Cordovan lines, known for gentle temperament, productivity, and adaptability. Each nuc is inspected prior to pickup to ensure a healthy, active colony.

Pickup Information:
Pickup locations include McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Prosper, and Aubrey. Pick-up instructions will be emailed the week prior to your scheduled date. Pickups are expected in late April to early May, depending on weather conditions and queen readiness.

This nuc is ideal for expanding existing apiaries or establishing new colonies with minimal setup required.
